THE NETWORK PULLS THE PLUG ON THE sVo
29th May 2011

The network today announced that it was pulling the plug on the sVo and all of its shows with immediate effect. Despite the fact that the planned PPV 'Retribution' was coming up, the move by the executives at the network has left sVo shows such as 'Showdown', 'UnSanctioned' and the regular PPV events without a home.

The decision is thought to have mainly been brought about by the bad feelings between network executive Victoria Prado and sVo management which has been brewing for months, and the falling ratings of the flagship 'Showdown' show. The fact that several advertisers and sponsors have recently pulled the plug after some bad publicity is thought to have sealed the sVo's fate.

Without a home it looks as if the second run of the Sanctioned Violence is at at an end. Unless a new home can be found for the sVo in the near future then it looks like the Goodfellas Casino Arena will have seen it's last wrestling show. With all of the talent now free to sign elsewhere due to clauses in their contract, it looks like Nathan Paradine will go down in history as the last ever sVo Champion.

Jon Page and the rest of the management team could not be reached for comment.
